Z Energy’s Royal Oak site in Auckland has the first of digital shelter installed - giving customers a well lit charging zone, CCTV coverage and some shelter.

Z Energy continues to install infrastructure-grade, rapid EV Charging Stations across New Zealand. We partnered with Kempower to install the latest site in Cambridge.

We’re delighted to partner with Z Energy. Like us, Z is committed to helping to ensure Kiwis can charge their EVs as they travel around the country. By the end of this year, they will have EV charging at 20% of Z service stations, with many more in the works.

From the supermarket to their company car park and the most far-flung holiday destination, Kiwis will know they can get there and back without battery-level anxiety.

With an already well-established retail network of 197 service stations and 150 truck stops conveniently located on major travel corridors across New Zealand, as well as fantastic onsite amenities including increased safety and security when charging, Z is well placed to scale up its EV charging offering to bolster New Zealand’s EV charging network.
